Marin completes Team Europe’s top four line up alongside Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Dominic Thiem to play the first edition of the Laver Cup from 22 to 24 September at the O2 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic.
The Laver Cup will pit six top European players against their counterparts from the rest of The World. Each team will be led by a team captain, who is a legend of the sport.
Four of the six players will qualify based on their ATP singles ranking as of the Monday following Wimbledon. Two are “captain’s picks” that will be announced by the Monday after the US Open.
“I know how well Roger is playing this season, so it will be nice to be on the same team in Prague. To be part of the first Laver Cup is really exciting and something I am looking forward to. To be representing Team Europe is a huge honor for me.”
