In London on Saturday, June 25th, 2016, in the sumptuous surroundings of the Angler Restaurant (perched at the top of South Place Hotel), that Marin had chosen to get together with his friends and guests for the gala dinner which officially launched his Foundation.
In a calm and elegant atmosphere, reflecting Marin, in which the guests shared an outstanding evening featured by the performance of the famous mentalist coming straight from Budapest for the occasion, Mr Danny Blue (YouTube link).
We would like to warmly thank to all who contributed to the success of this event, namely : the ATP World Tour, the Eric Sturdza Bank, Edwin Weindorfer, the Macquerie Bank, Morgan Sports Law, the US Open, Vixlet.
We are also deeply grateful to the friends for their presence: David Goffin, Tim Henman, Goran Ivanisevic, Thomas Johansson, Ivan Ljubicic, and Stephen Farrow, Director of the Aegon Championships.
Finally, we express a special thank you to the Michelin-starred Angler Restaurant and its Chef Gary Foulkes for the succulent dishes tasted during the dinner, as well as Moët & Chandon, the prominent champagne House, gold partner of the ATP, which also joined the event and served the guests a Champagne with an inimitable identity.
The Marin Cilic Foundation will principally provide educational opportunities to youth in Croatia, help children with health issues, grant different scholarships and also develop several projects around the world.
