Marin finished off a perfect week at the PEB BNP Istanbul Open by taking the title with a 7-6(3), 6-3 victory over first seed Milos Raonic (ATP 6).
This is Marin’s 17th tour-level title, the first of the season and his second clay-court victory since Umag in 2012.
It was a memorable week for Marin, having reached the 400 match wins milestone on Friday.
