20 scholarships for 20 of Croatia’s future stars

The Marin Cilic Foundation recently awarded its fourth generation of scholarships to promising young athletes and musicians. With over 100 applications submitted from qualified candidates across Croatia, our committee had the difficult task of selecting the top 10 in each category. We read many inspiring stories, learned about various sports and instruments, and felt the motivation, determination, and passion each applicant has for their chosen sport or instrument. We thank all applicants for sharing a bit about their journey with us.

This year’s award ceremony took place at the Esplanade Hotel in Zagreb (following all epidemiological measures) and provided the opportunity for our founder, Marin Cilic, to personally meet this year’s winners. It was also an opportunity for the recipients to get to know each other, share experiences, and make new friends. Each scholarship recipient will receive 10,000 HRK to use toward their further development. This project was made possible in large part thanks to our generous donors and participants of our holiday online auction & fundraiser at the Fuliranje Holiday Market that took place on the Oleander Terrace of Esplanade Hotel Zagreb during the month of December.

We proudly present the Marin CIlic Foundation’s 2022 scholarship recipients. Remember their names and talents because we are sure that we will soon see them on the world’s biggest stages.
